He left the Rome Masters after an honorable defeat to invincible Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-1 in the round of 16. Djokovic is currently in the best shape of his career, reaching 37 wins in a row in 2011, and counting! Stan had to yield against Djoko, currently ATP 2, and he is getting ready to play in Roland Garros, one of his favorite tournaments. His best performance there so far is his round of 16 game lost to fellow citizen Roger Federer in 2010. Stan is hoping do do at least as good as his 2010 run this year! Sa meilleure performance à ce jour dans ce tournoi est sa participation aux huitième de finale en 2010 face à Roger Federer. Stan espère faire au moins aussi bien cette année, il arrive à Paris plein d’ambition!
