Stan Wawrinka, the world N.9, managed the perfect game to overcome his Swiss compatriot Roger Federer (No.2) in three sets 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) Wednesday, and access for the first time in his career in the French Open semifinals.
Trained by Magnus Norman, a finalist at Roland Garros in 2000, will face Wawrinka in the semifinals the French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (N.15).
