Some news from Stan in Indian Wells:
I'm really happy to be on the circuit again. After the weeks training in Switzerland, and the Davis Cup, it feels great to be back in the tournament atmostphere. I played really well against Seppi, a player who is not so easy to handle. I managed to stay really aggressive during the whole game... A good start it seems then!
If not, I am associated with Richard Gasquet for the doubles, a player that I apreciate a lot and who plays very well. It's first time that we play in a tournament, and until now it goes pretty well. We won against the second seed Nestor-Zimonjic 76 64, with a solid game, and at the second round we won Marach-Kubot 75 36 10-6! We're really happy to be still in the game. Half finals against Gonzales-Robredo, it's not gonna be easy tomorrow! |

3.3.2009 - Training
Davis Cup: in 1 week!

Hello from Alabama,
After a long trip on saturday with the whole tema, we arrived in Birmingham. We are all really happy to be again together here, it is always a great pleasure and atmosphere. Now, we've got 1 week to be ready for the match, and we'll be in shape, that's for sure!
As far as myself, I'm really happy to come back to play after a month, specially for a Davis Cup weekend! We are all super motivated, and we'll give it all!
Today we're training for first time in the stadium, 17000 seats, this must be big!
