After a good run in Roland Garros, only defeated by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the round of 16, Stan is currently getting ready to take part in the Championships, Wimbledon. Played on grass courts and exclusively outdoors, Wimbledon takes place in London from june the 25th to July the 8th and is the third Grand Slam event of the season. Stan made the fourth round there in 2008 and 2009 outplayed respectively by Marat Safin and Andy Murray. Stan is eager to begin his 2012 run there the best way he can so he recently withdrew from the Queens tournament. He did nothing but practice lately so he stays in great shape to take part in the Wimbledon event!Après son bon parcours à Roland Garros – défait en huitième de finale contre Jo-Wilfried Tsonga – et quelques jours de récupération, Stan se prépare à disputer le tournoi de Wimbledon. Avant dernier tournoi du Grand Chelem de la saison, Wimbledon se joue à Londres, en extérieur sur gazon du 25 juin au 8 juillet. Stan a atteint les huitièmes de finale sur la pelouse anglaise à deux reprises, en 2008 et 2009 respectivement face à Marat Safin et Andy Murray. Désireux d’arriver en forme à Wimbledon, Stan n’a pas disputé le tournoi du Queens cette année. Actuellement à l’entrainement, il se prépare au mieux avant d’attaquer la compétition!
