Stanislas Wawrinka is currently in London. Stanislas Wawrinka s’est envolé pour Londres. After his good run in the French Open Roland Garros – fourth round, only defeated by fellow citizen and eventual runner-up Roger Federer – Stan is about to take part in the ATP 250 Queen’s club Championship. Played outdoors on grass, this tournament should be the best way for Stan to prepare for the upcoming Grand Slam event in Wimbledon. Stan is currently in great shape and his objective is to go as far as he can in both these tournaments.
Après un tournoi de Roland Garros qui l’aura vu accéder aux huitièmes de finale, battu par son compatriote et futur finaliste Roger Federer, Stan se présente dans la capitale anglaise pour y disputer le tournoi du Queen’s. Disputé sur gazon, ce tournoi ATP 250 devrait permettre à Stan de se préparer au mieux pour le prochain Grand Chelem qui se déroule à Wimbledon, également sur gazon, quelque jours plus tard. Actuellement en très bonne forme, Stan fait du tournoi du Queen’s un objectif en soi, et espère ainsi aller le plus loin possible dans cette compétition.
