Stan has been quite busy lately! After a good run in Tokyo, where he beat Japanese player Moriya in the first round 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 before getting rid of French Jeremy Chardy 7-6, 6-7, 7-5 and finally losing the quarterfinal game against Andy Murray, Stan went to the Shanghai masters. In China, he beat Albert Ramos 7-6 (7/1) 7-6 (7/5) in the first round before qualifying for the knockout stages by defeating Denis Istomin 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in the second round. In the round of 16, he could not go past his fellow citizen and current world No. 1 Roger Federer, finally bowing 4-6, 7-6, 6-0 after failing to make the feat in the second set! Stan is now back in Switzerland where he will rest before getting back on tracks and prepare the Paris Masters which begins at the end of October!Stan a vécu une rentrée chargée! En huitième, il a trébuché sur son compatriote et actuel numéro 1 mondial Roger Federer, s’inclinant finalement 4-6, 7-6, 6-0 après avoir failli créer l’exploit dans le deuxième set! Stan est désormais de retour en Suisse ou il va récupérer avant de s’attaquer au masters 1000 de Bercy qui débutera à Paris à la fin du mois d’octobre!
